Leyland Evangelists ~Thank you Jesus that my Faith is in your Finished Work on the Cross

  • 8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves; it is a gift of God..
    9) Not of Works, lest any man should boast.... Ephesians 2:8-9(kjv)

Well these 2 passages are so simple that Uneducated and untrained
men / women (Acts 4:13) can understand.. It is all about HIM and not about us..
The message to the world is Jesus Christ and Him alone can save you , The blood has been shed once and for all for Men and women everywhere. Once we understand this we will appreciate what the finished work of the cross means for the Believer..

Jesus Christ is My Lord and My Savior because of what He did at Calvary 2000 years ago.. Remember on the Cross he said its Finished ,Well People its either Finished or Jesus Christ is not who he claimed to be,. Well I know who Im believing!! and its not MAN!! God Bless you all we have freedom in Christ Jesus -- David Taylor

Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah - indeed, sin is violation of Torah. 1 John 3:4

      Christ Our Peace

14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.

22 "For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making will continue in my presence," says ADONAI, "so will your descendants and your name continue.
23 "Every month on Rosh-Hodesh and every week on Shabbat, everyone living will come to worship in my presence," says ADONAI.
24 "As they leave, they will look on the corpses of the people who rebelled against me. For their worm will never die, and their fire will never be quenched; but they will be abhorrent to all humanity." ["Every month on Rosh-Hodesh and every week on Shabbat, everyone living will come to worship in my presence," says ADONAI.]

    • Scott Blair I think that's the biggest misunderstanding of what we believe Leyland. We trust and put our faith in the Messiah and know that His grace catches us when we fall. The Messiah says follow me and if you love me, keep my commandments. How else do we follow him if we do not do what He did?

There is a difference in the commandments/law/torah and the rabbinical laws/talmud/oral law that was being taught by the Pharisees. Their law is bondage, not Gods. Does this make since?

    • Suzette Robinson We are following the gospel. Jesus/Yahushuah came to teach the true gospel, that is not to be held in the bondage and doctrines of man-made religion, that anyone who would take up his stake and follow Him, could be one of the chosen people of God, to be grafted into the set-apart nation of Israel - the one nation out of every nation in the world that God chose to be His kings and priests.

These promises and covenants He (El Shaddai, The Almighty) said are forever. If The Almighty declares a thing forever, it is forever.

Israel is like a tithe. There are the nations of the world, of those nations God chose one to be His "tithe" - His portion. It is their job to teach and minister to the rest of the world. They failed, they went astray, they lived in apostasy, determining their own ways to worship Him, setting up idols, worshipping pagan gods, like Moloch a god of prosperity. He punished Israel greatly, He prophesied and fulfilled that prophecy that He would scatter them to the four corners of the earth. But because HE never changes and His Word can never be broken, the covenants with them will stand forever. In those same prophecies about them being scattered for their apostasy, He also promised to restore them and bring them back from wherever they have been scattered.

When Jesus came He said He came only for the lost sheep of the House of Israel. In the process of Himself and the apostles going out to seek the lost (sheep of the House of Israel) the gospel or "good news" would be spread to the whole world, and anyone who chose to believe and become as one with Israel would be Israel - The Bride of Messiah. Israel is a whoring bride - she broke her marriage vows - the commandments given at Mt. Sinai. According to Torah, a man who divorces his wife cannot remarry her if she commits whoredom. This is one of the reasons Messiah had to die. Once He died, she was set free from this Torah law that prevented her from being His bride. As a resurrected Bridegroom, He could remarry His bride - Israel.

There are others who interact with Israel like Jethro, Moses Father-in-Law. But to be God's "chosen people" one must live as His Bride and that is according to the commandments. It is no different than a man and woman today, if one wants to maintain a loving and intimate marriage, one seeks to speak the same language as one's spouse, to eat the same foods, the cook his or her favorite meals, to celebrate the things that are important to one's spouse. Since He is The Creator of the universe, we cannot expect Him to just accept whatever way we want to live and still want Him to be our Bridegroom, we as His creation, should desire to do things as He desires them to be done. This is one of the other reasons He came to live among us, to show us how to be His bride, He lived as we should live.

I can show you that my keeping the Torah or works does not save me in fact nothing I can do beyond repenting will not save me. I can use scripture to define sin. I can not however find in scripture where the law is no more. I can't find where the sabbath was moved to the first day, I can not find where The biblical feasts were replaced with Christmas and Easter. So please show me

    • Suzette Robinson I am not saying it requires keeping of the commandments to be saved. Salvation is by faith alone. One might make it into The Kingdom (only God truly knows who will) without keeping "The Law" but a bride lives according to her marriage vows. The marriage vows are the commandments Ex. 24:7, Jer 31:32, Rom 7:2-3, Matt 7:21-23, Matt 5:19

    • Bernard Yosef Honigfort Leyland Evangelist, I know who Yeshua (Jesus) is. I was redeemed back in 1978. The day of my redemption came with me almost killing someone because of some who, I found out later, wanted me dead. That night I prayed to not have to protect myself, I wanted His protection. In dream I saw my Salvation, He rescued me and told me that I should listen to Him, not what man taught. I learned the ways of man's religion Catholicism/Christianity (I grew up in the Catholic church until this dream, the Christian churches teach the same thing). I fell away because I was not doing as my Salvation, Yeshua (Jesus), said I was to do; not to listen to the teachings of men but to learn from Him. Thirty years later, I put it all in His hands to teach me what His Word said. I learned that what Matthew 5:17 says, that Yeshua did not come to do away with the Torah, is true.

    • Christiaan Hanson How is the hrm a cult? Easy. Proper kowledge of scripture shows that anyone who tries to add to the finished work of Christ, is anti-Christ. The hrm folks preach a works bases salvation, yet, you don't even follow all of the commandments of Torah. If someone, like myself, point this out to you folks, you go and make reasons on why you can compromise on certain laws of Torah.

Also, if people disagree with your "following", they are considered "not saved". It has Jim Jones written all over it...

As for me not sounding loving... Well, I want you all to be saved and with Jesus. So if I offend you, good. I would rather have you offended with me and be with Jesus for eternity, than to flatter you to the gates of Hell.

    • Clayton Glenney Actually your wrong. I don't obey Torah to be saved but I obey because I am saved. There's a difference. Actually the Bible says not to add to or take away from the Torah. It doesn't say that about Messiah. If you look at the history of the church it is anti Messiah. It doesn't celebrate the feasts and has accepted pagan feasts. It disobeys Gods commands and says the Torah is ended which the Torah is what proved Yeshua is Messiah

    • Roger Davis Following Torah is not about trying to obey a bunch of laws. The Torah is Yah's instruction manuel on how to live. It is given for our benefit. It is not a burden. Those that love Torah love to live by the instruction manual. There are some instructions that cannot be followed now because they require a priest and a temple. Those that hate His instruction manual hate Him. If you love Me, keep My Torah. Torah haters miss the whole point. Read Psalm 119 sometime and see the love that David had for the Torah. Yah called David a man after My own heart despite the terrible mistakes that David made. Why? Because David loved His instruction manual.

    • Leyland Evangelists Roger You are a false prophet, and according to the scriptures you do not have a relationship with yahweh. Not my words but from your own mouth, you regret leading people to Jesus, God calls those people antichrist, not my words but the word of almighty God

    • Leyland Evangelists Its not about Egos Tracy, its all about Christ, let us bring glory to his name, we love lifting the name of Jesus high, no egotism here, you will have to go and try to bruise someone else, we make it all about him. Godbless
    • Roger Davis I regret leading people to Christianity as it is a false religion. I believe in Yahowsha as our Savior. As SCRIPTURE states you must have the Torah and Yahowsha. Read it for yourself. Revelation 12:17 and Revelation 14:12 It's right there plain as day. Once again, name calling just isn't going negate the word of Yah. It says what it says and you can't change it.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world

    • Clayton Glenney If you celebrate Christmas or Easter you celebrate pagan holidays. If he write the law on your heart you would obey Torah. Because in Jeremiah 31 is where that's originally found and the word law in Hebrew is Torah.

    • Leyland Evangelists Have you nothing better to do than go around causing strife? Why not go and preach to the lost, the ones who Jesus died for, the world is going to hell!!
    • Leyland Evangelists International Standard Version (©2012)
Do not have anything to do with foolish and stupid discussions, because you know they breed arguments
    • Leyland Evangelists In reality, the feasts are made everlasting statutes, just so long as we live by the Old Covenant. Once the New Covenant has entered which supercedes the old they can no longer be statutory for the New Covenant believer. Christ came not to rub them out but to fulfill them in Himself. Very important to understand that HE FULFILLED THEM IN HIMSELF. They served their purpose in foreshadowing Him and to make a people ready to receive Him. Now Christ is our feast. We do not need the shadow anymore because we have Christ. He is the Bread of Life and the Water of Life that we “feast” on daily.
    • Bernard Yosef Honigfort Because, the Word says those who do not know what the Good News (Gospel) is, that is who we are to go to Leyland Evangelists. Do you know what the Good News is that Yeshua (Jesus) taught?

    • Leyland Evangelists John 3.16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3.3 Unless a man is born again he cannot enter the kingdom of God!
    • Bernard Yosef Honigfort Okay then am I to assume that someone was right there with an iPad writing down things Yeshua did so that could instantly go off to print for people to read? Or was Yeshua teaching something that was already written?

    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist Wait -- if John 3:16 is the gospel then can you explain how Jesus and the disciples were all preaching the gospel before he died?

      Matthew 4:23
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the GOSPEL of the kingdom, and
healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people

Luke 9 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. 3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. 4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. 5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the GOSPEL, and healing every where.

were they preaching John 3:16 BEFORE He died? You have to admit that the disciples were clueless as to what was going to happen.

    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist I did find Him, I quoted Matthew and Luke, you say you are an evangelist, preaching the good news, I am asking how the good news can be John 3:16 if they were preaching it while He was still alive, both Jesus and the twelve

    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist Leyland, I asked a very basic question, one you should easily be able to answer. What is the gospel, if it was the message they preached while Jesus was still alive, both Him and His disciples?
    • Leyland Evangelists I have had to block your friends unfortunatly for time wasting, I can see that the hrm go around deliberatly causing strife, if you have the Good news go and share it with others, please dont post any more as we have been gracious in answering questions for two weeks, to the extent that when we say leave us in peace, they have behaved like a dog with a bone. Hope you respect our wishes. God bless
    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist I am so puzzled why you will not answer the question. It is a very important thing to consider. I was very surprised when I found out that the gospel was not John 3:16. Aren't you curious? I know I was.
    • Leyland Evangelists So NO you have no respect either, like I said a dog with a bone, block.
    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist So you cannot evangelise because you do not know the gospel
    • Elizabeth TylerDawn Rosenquist I will pray for you hun.
    • Christiaan Hanson Cults. All the same. They take a scripture or two, proof-text the rest, then say that they have the only true interpretation of the Truth.

Sorry for spamming your wall Leyland. I never like to sit idle by when wolves are on the prowl.
    • Victoria Jenkins so I'm watching this conversation and I'm really puzzled. Leyland, it's good that you are enthusiastic about winning souls which is a good thing...it's what we should all be doing. What I don't understand is that it seems pretty clear to me that Bernard knows the Lord, but you are saying he doesn't. Why?
